ChainLinked Setup

ChainLinked is relatively easy to set-up. Just go step-by-step.

1) Adding Your Site Info

Extract ChainLinked.zip using your favorite compression utility.
Open the file sites.txt
Type the title of your site (25 characters max), the address (URL), and a description (70 characters max). Don't use all caps.
Below is a sample-
Name of Your Site http://www.yoursite.com Come visit my site! It's neat! Download Hut http://www.downloadhut.com Come here for lots of FREE downloads Bobo the Puppy http://www.freewebspaceplace/~bobo/index.html The cyberspace home of Bobo the puppy! So cute! virtig01 applets http://virtig01.cjb.net Free Java applets Surfboards Dude! http://www.surf-dude.com/sweet.html Get an authentic Calafornia surfboard from Surf Dude!
Delete the sixth entry (title, address, and descritpion.) Don't touch the others.
Save it and add it back into ChainLinked.zip

2) Uploading ChainLinked

Upload these files to your website-


ChainLinked.zip
sites.txt
ChainLinked.class
GetLinked.html

3) Adding ChainLinked to your pages

Fill this out ... code will appear in the box ... Copy & Paste into any of your pages; colors are optional-
